this series of woodcuts explores the natural grain of the plywood.
in a figure drawing class in the 60’s, my mother drew the original nude reclining on blankets but drew no pubes or armpit hair, after she passed I hung the pice I my room but decided to add the hair as a way to collaborate her posthumously and have a conversation about body image.
